So, I got the brilliant idea from a picture on Pinterest and this website to create a cave with paper stalactites. Problem is, we have acoustic tile ceilings, and you might know that it’s REALLY hard to get anything to stick to them. So the stalactites had to go up on the wooden room divider. Even then, it wasn’t easy. It took me days to roll all those papers up. We were worried about them falling down and tripping the library alarm, but I first put a few up at home, and they didn’t fall, so we tried a few all day long (which stretched into several days) at the library and had no problem. So, UP they all went. Trust me–it looks better in person. And, I think it would have looked better in brown paper, but all I had to work with was white. Now, our children’s section is a cave!
